Venetian Resort Hotel Las Vegas Reviews

  1. The Venetian is very beautifully decorated and luxurious. Since this was my first visit to Vegas, I am happy to have had the luxury experience but I would never stay here again. The Venetian is somewhat difficult to navigate at times. You may have to take multiple elevator rides and walk great distances to find your room. By the time you find your room you may be too exhausted to leave it. The service was excellent but I did have to complain about housekeeping. There are mandatory hotel fees on top of your room rate which cover the cost of amenities whether you use them or not. Even if you don't stay here it is worth visiting. The Venetian houses many fancy shops if that's your interest. You may be asked to complete a time share tour while shopping which could land you a free return stay at the Venetian. I did not visit any of the hotels restaurants. The hotel has different themes and activities that change often. If you are traveling on a budget and are only in your hotel for the purpose of showering and sleeping you may want to apply your funds to other aspects of your trip. If money is no object and you are physically fit then you will have little to complain about.

  2. The hotel was awesome - they couldn't get me a non-smoking room the first night so they waived the resort fee AND gave me a $75 food credit. Now that is service.

The rooms were clean, housekeeping was flawless; large suite style rooms. The pool garden - to die for. You can find a nice isolated section, if you wanted. Did I mention all but the largest pool is heated? The Venetian itself with the canal and square - fabulous.

...might be too busy for the business traveler, but for the tourist? Awesome

PS: The rooms do go on sale for more than half off. I got my deal through expedia.

  3. If you play poker, stay here. Awesome poker room. Middle of the strip. Rooms are clean, spacious, and beds are very comfortable. Great shopping and restaurants including gondola rides through the middle of the hotel. The pool is great and seems to be much less crazy than others in the same class. The gym has a climbing wall and top notch machines. Spa is excellent. The hotel is very large but I prefer that as the space between casino and clubs and rooms offers a more quiet stay when you are ready to turn down.

  4. You obtain great value for your money, simply was better than I would hope, I live in Mexico City and if you want a luxurious room and a service as in the Venetian Hotel, you have to be able to expend at least double price. I feel really satisfied and I hope to return soon to Las Vegas, many hotels are so beautiful but without doubt I'm going to stay in The Venetian Hotel. I highly recommend it.

  5. As the name implies, this luxury hotel on the Strip in Vegas is reminiscent of the city of Venice in Italy. Recently remodeled and built onto, the hotel is boasted as on of the largest in the world. The Venetian's signature feature is its quarter-mile Grand Canal, a waterway by piazzas and shops on which guests may partake in gondola rides. Performers entertain guests along the Grand Canal's cobblestone walkways. The Grand Canal Shoppes include 80 international boutiques and name-brand outlets. The hotel's casino offers table games, a semi-private high-limit salon, slot and video poker machines, and a luxury race and sports lounge. The five-acre pool deck atop the fourth level of the Venetian tower has three pools, one whirlpool, ten cabanas for rent, cocktail service, and a central bar. I stayed here two years ago for a software convention. Since my company paid the expenses, I enjoyed my stay even more.
